This parking spot is marked as Van Accessible but has the access isle on the
drivers side. This does meet the ADAAG specifications if it weren't labeled
Van Accessible. Van Accessible spots must have the wider 96" or larger
access isle on the passenger side.

If one backed into this spot with a van it would work except for the case that
the access isle of this specific spot is not 96" wide. This is located on
a very narrow two lane road so backing in is quite difficult - especially for a driver
with limited arm strength.

Solution: Remove the Van Accessible sign below the disabled parking spot
sign.

Recommended Practice: When building a single disabled parking spot make
it a Van Accessible space (may actually be ADAAG specification per ADAAG Section
- If only one spot is required according to scoping it must be a Van Accessible
spot).

According to the U. S. Access board proposed public right away specificaitons
all diagonal and perpendictular parking spots on a public right away should
 be Van Accessible.

Additional Notes:

Note that when passing behind the van to go to the access isle the person is
in the traffic lanes. Possibly diagonal van accessible spots need to be made
longer so that there were be rear clearance whithout entering the traffic lane.
