This parking spot meets code but the accessible route in the rear of the vehicle
is much too steep. Because of the railing on the ramp, there is no clearance
for the driver to open the driver's side door. (There is no specification for
this). The first try on this site had a sloping parking spot exceeding 2% and
was reconsturcted creating a level parking spot. This made the rear slope problem
worse. See before picture at Case1
 before

Solution: It would be difficult to fix this spot based on site slopes.
This is the outer (back) spot of a two deep parking spot. The disabled spot
could be moved to the front spot eliminating the two deep configuration to provide
 a good accessible route slope.

Recommended Practice: Catch accessible route slope problems in plan
review befor any construction is started.
